Terms of use
Who these terms are with
The Care Record (thecarerecord.com) is published by Revlent LLC, 44679 Endicott Dr, Ste 300-3001, Ashburn, VA 20147. These terms cover your use of the site, and by using it you agree to them. They took effect on November 2, 2026.
Information, not advice
The site explains public programs, rules and paperwork, with the source and the date we checked each fact. It is general information, not medical, legal or financial advice, and using it does not make us your lawyer, doctor or adviser. A rule can change after the date we checked it, so confirm anything you plan to act on with the agency or plan named on the page. The disclaimer explains this in more detail.
Accounts
You do not need an account to read the site, and we do not offer reader accounts. Only our own staff sign in, to edit it.
What you send us
If you send us a message, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to store it and to use it to answer you and to fix the site. You promise that it is yours to share and that it is not false, abusive, or someone else's private information.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site to harass anyone or to post anything unlawful.
- Do not probe the site for weaknesses, get around its limits, or overload it.
- Search engines and AI assistants may read the site as our robots.txt file allows. Beyond that, do not copy our pages or data in bulk by automated means.
- Do not pretend to be The Care Record or to speak for us.
Our content
The text, records and design of the site belong to Revlent LLC. You may read, print and share pages for your own use and your family's, and you may quote short passages with a link back to the page. To republish our pages or reuse our data, ask first through the contact form. The facts we report come from public sources, and you are always free to go to those sources yourself.
Links to other sites
We link to government agencies, laws, plans and official forms so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.
No guarantee
We work to keep every fact correct and dated, and we fix mistakes when we find them. Even so, the site is provided as is, without any promise that it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Revlent LLC is not liable for losses that come from relying on the site instead of confirming a fact with the agency or plan that sets it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date above. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
